A Small Team of Handpicked Tutors
Being a close-knit team of tutors, our tutors share expertise, resources and aid each other, to deliver the best sessions possible for you.

A Rising International Department
Our international department aims to help international students who wish to study at UK universities with admissions. With our tutors being students at prestigious and highly competitive universities, having first-hand experience of the admissions process and coming from multicultural and multilingual backgrounds, who could be a better choice?

Young and Capable Tutors
Tutor Generation represents a new generation of educators: skilled, motivated, with up-to-date expertise of our education system. Our tutors have undergone GCSE and A-Level exams and university admissions through UCAS not too long ago, acting not only as teachers, but as mentors.

An Interactive Lesson Experience
Our tutors aim to make the tutoring experience feel less like a lesson, instead making it a collaborative effort between tutor, student and parents to improve learning and performance. Whatever way works best for each student, our tutors will quickly find it to make sessions engaging and productive.

Tutoring Arrangements
Once you have selected a tutor, you are able to contact them via the email
provided in their profile page, to arrange the specifics.

How do online lessons work?

Once you have selected a tutor, you are able to contact them via the email provided in their profile page, to arrange the specifics.

When a lesson has been scheduled, you will have to pay in advance up to 48 hours before the arranged date, after which you will be sent an online invite for the lesson, which you can use to access the meeting on the day.

Do we offer in person lessons?

While we primarily offer online lessons, in-person lessons are also an option that may be offered by certain tutors, as stated in their profile.
If you are still unsure, don’t hesitate to use the chat function for more information.

What is our cancellation policy?

Lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
After the 24 hour cutoff any cancellations will not be refunded, but free rescheduling options will be offered.

Do we offer tuition for groups with more than 3 students?

While we generally don’t recommend tuition in large groups for achieving the best possible results with each individual student, it can be arranged in agreement with the tutor. Feel free to contact and ask your preferred tutor whether they offer such services. As per our price offers, with each additional student an additional 5% is taken off the original price per individual student.
We do not allow groups of more than 5 students.

Can I mix and match tutors for my monthly plan?

You are absolutely free to arrange any combination of tutors for your monthly plan you like, subject to availability. The free additional lesson time you will
benefit from depending on your plan can be arranged with any of the tutors of your choice for any subject.

How can we help with university admissions?

The major advantage to choosing our tutors is their recent expertise with applying to universities in the UK via UCAS. Our tutors can help with advice and review of personal statements: from how to talk about preparedness for university, to suggesting specific opportunities for one’s preferred course.
Moreover, with some of our tutors having successfully completed interviews and admissions tests for their courses, they are able to tutor applicants on the best strategies, give detailed feedback and even run mock interviews.
Due to the international approach of Tutor Generation, we can adapt our university admissions services to international students interested in studying in the UK.

How can we help students with exam preparation?

From 11 Plus, to GCSE, to A-level and more, our tutors have completed their exams for the current exam specifications with great success.
They have access to xpertise, exam techniques and resources as young people who have been in these same shoes not too long ago and want to share it with their students.
While each tutor’s individual approach with their students will vary (and is described in detail in their tutor profiles!), generally all of our tutors will aim to show tudents the best way to approach tough questions and share with them additional resources to consolidate and apply their knowledge.

What languages do our tutors speak?

Besides being fluent in the English language and educational system, our tutors also come from different backgrounds, with Arabic, Greek, Spanish, Russian, Bulgarian and Albanian being some of the languages we currently have speakers of.

What do we look for in our tutors?

Our tutors can be said to represent the most capable of the new generation:
academically skilled and motivated young people, who are able to adapt to changing systems and environments. We look for tutors that personally know each other to ensure the best level of collaboration for the best services possible.

Can I apply to be a tutor?

We do not have a formal application process to become a tutor due to the small team of tutors we like to maintain.
However, if you are interested in working with us, don’t hesitate to contact us via the details above and we can schedule an interview.
We welcome people who fit our criteria and are interested in becoming part of the team.

Other arrangements may be available upon
request, so don’t be afraid to contact us!
